ISO 9001 Quality System
Waterworld was the first 'stand alone' facility in Ireland to achieve accreditation to this award in 1996, and has achieved accreditation every year since.
This year will be the 14th Anniversary of accreditation.
ISO stands for International Standards Organisation and is audited by NSAI - National Standards Authority of Ireland. It is a Quality Management System (QMS) which is spilt into departments and detail every operation of the facility in the form of Standard Operating Procedures. These form the basis of our operation and detail every experience a customer could have, ensuring we provide a consistently high standard. The system provides safeguards for things that may go wrong, identifies potential hazards and how to deal with them.
We receive an external audit from NSAI every season, which checks our QMS and gives us constructive criticism and instructions if appropriate. We review our QMS every year and improve it based on audits, our experiences and Customer Feedback. For further information please contact the Waterworld Quality Co-ordinator.
